Greg Fyffe is a commercially driven executive and energy transition strategist with over 25 years of cross-sector experience spanning petroleum engineering, deep-sea technology, solar innovation, AI-driven SaaS, and large-scale battery energy storage. A petroleum engineer by training, Greg holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Petroleum from the University of New South Wales and an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Australian Graduate School of Management, grounding his commercial instincts in both technical and financial rigor. He began his career as a Field and Senior Field Engineer with Schlumberger in Venezuela and Libya before progressing through corporate planning and M&A roles at Roc Oil where he served as commercial lead on a US$260 million acquisition of a Chinese oil company and played a key role in securing a US$250 million structured debt facility and later as Acting CEO of Benthic Geotech. He subsequently scaled an AI SaaS technology start-up to 6x revenue growth over two years as COO, helped solar innovator 5B execute its first international projects across the Americas and Asia-Pacific as Chief Ecosystem Officer and General Manager APAC. Currently serving as Head of Sales, Energy Solutions at Shell Energy Australia leading a national team accountable for battery storage, demand response, virtual power plants, renewable energy certificates, and decarbonization engineering advisory.
